Trump is planning something big with the Republican Party to strengthen security and law and order
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is collaborating with Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune and House Speaker Mike Johnson on a “comprehensive crime bill.”

Together with fellow Republicans, Speaker Mike Johnson and Leader John Thune are drafting a Comprehensive Crime Bill. In a Truth Social post, Trump stated, “It’s what our country needs.”
Trump took over the D.C. police department this month, citing a rumored wave of lawlessness, and is permitting National Guard members to carry firearms while on patrol in the city. He has made threats to increase American military involvement in Democratic-controlled cities like Chicago and Baltimore.
Trump claimed earlier this week that the U.S. military is prepared to move anywhere at any time to combat crime, including Chicago.
Additionally, Trump directed the Department of Defense to make sure that each state has a small number of National Guard members on standby, prepared to quickly mobilize in order to help maintain public safety and put an end to civil unrest.
