The words “God” and “King” in Elon Musk’s post created curiosity among the public
Washington, D.C.: billionaire Elon Musk posted a mysterious message that said, “No gods or kings, only man.” “Anyone else think of this yesterday?” he wrote as the caption for the photo.
The message, which coincided with the parade for US President Donald Trump‘s birthday and the 250th anniversary of the US Army, was made only one day after anti-Trump demonstrations swept the country. Opposition organizations organized the rallies, known as the “No Kings” marches, and charged Trump with acting like a king and eroding democratic principles.

People are left to conjecture since Musk has not provided an explanation for the postings. Some believe it reflects his emphasis on the accomplishments of humans in space exploration. Given his recent conflict with Trump, some see it as a message about personal strength independent of rulers or higher powers.
Musk posted a picture from the computer game BioShock with the statement, “No Gods or Kings, Only Man.” The statement is associated with the character Andrew Ryan and the underwater metropolis of Rapture in the game, which prioritizes personal liberty. The lines, which are set in gold lettering on a crimson curtain in the game, have subsequently been extensively utilized in fan art, memorabilia, and wallpapers, often in an Art Deco style that draws inspiration from the game’s visuals.
