Lara and Tiffany Trump’s social-media accounts hacked, attackers promote crypto scam
U.S : It seems that on Tuesday night, someone broke into Lara and Tiffany Trump‘s social media accounts, using the information to spread a cryptocurrency fraud.
World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency initiative associated with the Trump family that has not yet been formally established, was referenced in the now-deleted tweets on X, previously Twitter. Lara and Tiffany Trump included links to the project’s purported website in their postings, giving the impression that they supported it.
The son of the former president and spouse of Lara, Eric Trump, promptly alerted X users to the intrusion on the two accounts.
He wrote, “This is a scam!!!” on X. “@LaraLeaTrump and @TiffanyATrump’s Twitter profiles have been compromised!!”
.@twitter was amazing and has locked down @LaraLeaTrump and @TiffanyATrump accounts within minutes.

Elon Musk’s social networking site was commended by the son of the former president for effectively closing down the accounts “within minutes.” In his third presidential run, Trump has the support of Tesla CEO.
The postings have been removed, and Lara and Tiffany Trump’s accounts are back up.
An legitimate World Liberty Financial account on X verified the scam by posting, “ALERT: Lara’s and Tiffany Trump’s X accounts have been hacked.” You should not buy any tokens shared from their accounts or click on any links. While we’re trying to get this fixed, please exercise caution and steer clear of frauds.
Trump has been wooing the nation’s bitcoin fans while presenting himself as an advocate for cryptocurrencies in the face of regulatory scrutiny from the government. The former president assured the 50 million Americans who hold Bitcoin during an address at the Libertarian National Convention in May that he “will keep Elizabeth Warren and her goons away from your bitcoin.”
In July, Trump told cryptocurrency owners that his “job will be to set you free” and make America “the crypto capital of the planet and bitcoin superpower of the world.” Warren, on the other hand, has repeatedly called for more regulation on the industry, raising concerns that the technology could be used to cover up illegal activities. The remarks were delivered during the 2024 Bitcoin conference, which is held annually in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cryptocurrency donations are now officially accepted for Trump’s 2024 campaign. On his official campaign website, President Trump states that he is “ready to embrace new technologies that will make America Great Again.”
That same day, Trump stated in a video posted on X last Thursday to his 90 million followers, he would have unveiled measures “to ensure that the United States will be the crypto capital of the planet.” The logo of World Liberty Financial closed the film.
Eric Trump wrote on X that same day, saying, “Happy to announce the debut of @WorldLibertyFi! In finance, a new age has begun.”
ALERT: Lara’s and Tiffany Trump's X accounts have been hacked. Do NOT click on any links or purchase any tokens shared from their profiles. We're actively working to fix this, but please stay vigilant and avoid scams!

As of right now, World Liberty Financial has not been established, and it is unclear how Trump’s cryptocurrency project—which incorporates his sons Eric and Donald Jr.—will operate.
More than 70,000 individuals have been duped by phony giveaways connected to a channel named “World Liberty Financial Airdrop,” which imitates the actual World Liberty Financial Telegram account, according to an exclusive story that The Independent published earlier this week.
The publication revealed that World Liberty Financial’s official account had advertisements placed on it by a cybercrime-run channel, which subsequently alerted viewers to the dangers of “fake airdrops or token sales.”
