US: President Donald Trump has addressed the criticism of rumors that he would be receiving a luxurious Boeing 747-8 jumbo airplane as a gift from the Qatari ruling family on his trip to the Middle East next week.
“So the fact that the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40-year-old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction, so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay TOP DOLLAR for the plane,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account on Sunday evening.
“Anyone can do that! MAGA, the Democrats are world-class losers.
Democrats were immediately incensed by the purported gift and accused Trump of corruption.
The media was informed on Sunday by Qatar’s Media Attaché to the United States, Ali Al-Ansari, that the gift claims are “inaccurate” and that “the matter remains under review by the respective legal departments and no decision has been made.”
