Palestinian militant group Hamas said one of its commanders was killed in an Israeli attack

According to the report, “Zionist bombardment of his house in the Beddawi camp” near the northern city of Tripoli claimed the lives of “Commander” Saeed Attallah Ali, his wife, and their two daughters.

Since the Gaza conflict broke out about a year ago, Israel has attacked Hamas leaders in Lebanon on many occasions.

Since then, Hamas has claimed the deaths of at least eighteen of its fighters in Lebanon.

The organization claimed that Fatah Sharif Abu al-Amine, its commander in Lebanon, was killed by an airstrike on Monday at his house in the Al-Bass camp in south Lebanon.

Samer al-Hajj, the leader of Hamas, was murdered in August when an Israeli attack occurred on a car in the city of Sidon in south Lebanon.

Saleh al-Aruri, the deputy head of Hamas, and six other militants were killed in a hit in January near Hezbollah’s stronghold in south Beirut, which a US defense official said was carried out by Israel.

The twelve Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon were established to house individuals who were forced to flee or were forced to flee during the 1948 war that also saw the birth of Israel.

According to long-standing tradition, the security in the camps is handled by the Palestinian groups rather than the Lebanese army.
