Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announce in Instagram post that they have adopted a baby girl
A mother is Millie Bobby Brown. The 21-year-old Stranger Things actress and her 23-year-old husband, Jake Bongiovi, revealed their adoption of a daughter on Instagram.

Through adoption, we received our adorable baby daughter this summer. We can’t wait to start this lovely new chapter of motherhood in quiet and tranquility,” Brown said on Instagram. “And then there were three,” she wrote at the end of the post.
In May 2024, Brown, who will play the lead in Stranger Things’ final season when it premieres on Netflix on November 26, married Bongiovi, the musician Jon Bon Jovi’s son, in a secret ceremony. A larger celebration was held in Italy a few months later. She discussed her desire for children in a March 2025 SmartLess podcast including Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.

“I’m still really young, but my mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” she said at the time.
“I wanted to be a mother in the same way that my mother was to me and… my grandmother is—she played a significant role in my life,” she said.
On the show, Brown also discussed adopting a kid, although she did not state that she had any intentions to do so right now.
“I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different than adopting,” she said. “For me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I—our energy in the house is like, ‘The door is always open.'”
They seem young for adopting a kid, but we don’t know any specifics regarding Brown and Bongiovi’s adoption. The National Council for Adoption reports that parents who opted for infant adoption were typically 35 years old, 94% were married at the time of adoption, and they typically had the highest family incomes and educational attainments.
