Georgia: U.S. Army Sergeant Quornelius Radford is the individual who is suspected of killing five troops at Fort Stewart in Georgia on Wednesday morning.

The U.S. Army said on social media that the troops were shot in the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) portion of the camp.
According to Fort Stewart authorities, all of the troops received on-site medical attention before being sent to Winn Army Community Hospital.
The arrested individual, Radford, 28, is a sergeant of automated logistics attached to the ABCT.
Five soldiers are injured during a shooting at Georgia’s Fort Stewart; a suspect is under suspicion.
According to the Army, Radford, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, enlisted in the regular Army in January 2018 as an Automated Logistical Specialist.
Radford has never been deployed, according to the Army.
He is still in pre-trial incarceration after being taken into custody after the incident.
The Georgia Department of Public Safety arrested Radford on May 18, 2025, for driving while intoxicated and disobeying a traffic control device.
