China issued this warning to Trump regarding tariffs
In response to Donald Trump’s intentions to impose more tariffs, China has warned him that “no one will win a trade war.”
When the president-elect comes to the White House on Monday, he will put an extra 10 percent tax on Chinese goods entering the country. He also warned that despite many discussions, “massive amounts of drugs” are still entering the country.
Liu Pengyu, the spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in the United States, responded to Trump’s remarks on X, previously Twitter: “China-US trade and economic cooperation is mutually beneficial in nature. In a trade or tariff war, no one will prevail.
Since the San Francisco Summit, regular contact between the U.S. and Chinese counternarcotics officials has resumed. The US side has been informed by the Chinese side of the developments in US-related anti-drug law enforcement activities. China has taken measures in response to US requests for confirming hints in certain circumstances.
He continued: “All these prove that the idea of China knowingly allowing fentanyl precursors to flow into the United States runs completely counter to facts and reality.”
