Some attendees at Donald Trump’s town hall event reportedly started leaving early

At a town hall session on Monday, several guests allegedly started departing early when the Republican presidential contender chose to play music for 39 minutes instead of answering questions from the crowd.

The former president showed up for the town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, which was facilitated by Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota. While two guests required medical care, the proceedings were halted. Trump then made a lighthearted comment, asking if “anybody else would like to faint?” “Let’s not do any more questions,” he immediately said. Let’s just enjoy some music. Shall we turn that into a song? After all, who the heck wants to listen to questions?”

The event happened after Kamala Harris called her White House opponent “unstable” and “unhinged” at a rally in Pennsylvania on Monday, raising doubts about Trump’s mental state. President Joe Biden said in July that he was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race due to concerns over his advancing age and mental state.

The Washington Post reports that when Trump said he would not be accepting any more questions at the town hall and instructed his staff to play a series of nine songs as he sometimes danced on stage, “some in the crowd began to leave.”

‘An American Trilogy’ by Elvis Presley, ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ by SinĂ©ad O’Connor, the legendary ‘YMCA’ by the Village People, and ‘Memory’ from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats were among the songs that were performed.

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung posted about the occasion on X, writing: “Total lovefest in the PA townhall! With everyone dying from excitement, @realDonaldTrump resorted to music.

“Nobody wanted to leave and wanted to hear more songs from the famous DJT Spotify playlist!”

Trump Just Answered These Questions

Some pundits, like independent writer Aaron Rupar, were harsher on X, writing on social media, saying things like, “Wow, this was weird.” Trump answered just a few questions and then abruptly ended his “town hall” in Oaks, Pennsylvania, saying he would take a few more. Then more music began to play as Trump wandered around the platform. quite strange sights.”

“This is absolutely insane,” said Ron Filipkowski, editor of the self-described “pro-democracy” digital portal MeidasTouch. After declaring he would not take any more questions, Trump just stopped responding to inquiries and remained on stage for the next thirty minutes while music played. Will this be reported by the media as anything other than a very strange cognitive episode?

At a rally on Sunday, Harris challenged Trump, who if won in November would become the oldest president to be inaugurated in American history, to make his medical records available.

“He refuses to release his medical records,” the woman said. I completed it. In the contemporary age, every other presidential contender has done it.”

It happened after Harris published a two-page medical assessment in which she said that, should she be elected next month, she could “successfully execute the duties” of president.

After the Republican nominee’s event in California’s Coachella Valley on Saturday, some of his fans allegedly found themselves stuck because there weren’t enough buses to return them to their automobiles.

Better news for Trump, meanwhile, comes from a recent nationwide poll conducted by Fox News, which revealed that the former president might get more than three times the percentage of votes from Black voters than he did in the 2020 election.
