Prince William’s Royal Plans : There doesn’t appear to be any chance for reconciliation between Prince William and his sister-in-law Meghan Markle and brother Prince Harry as he prepares for his next position as King. William’s approach is “swift and final,” according to an insider who spoke with OK! Magazine, paving the way for a big change in the dynamics of the Royal Family.
According to the insider, William has a distinct plan for his reign that includes purposefully separating himself from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
This strategy is consistent with earlier rumors that the Sussexes would be cast aside and have little chance of reintegrating into the royal family.
“William is already strategizing for his time as King, and he doesn’t see a future for the Sussexes within the Royal Family,” the person claimed. “The prevailing sentiment is that bringing them back into the fold would be a mistake.”
A former member of the royal staff said that William may even think about removing the Sussexes’ HRH titles via a Letters Patent, even though Parliament was the only body that could deal with their Dukedom. By doing this, a formal and final split from the royal family would be guaranteed.
William and Harry’s estrangement becomes deeper
There is much documentation of the conflicts that exist between William and Harry, especially after the publication of Harry’s memoir, Spare. William has expressed disapproval of Harry’s portrayal of Kate Middleton as being distant from Meghan. William has reportedly been quiet recently concerning Harry, according to insiders, indicating that the schism is still quite deep.
At a recent memorial service for their uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, the brothers’ tense relationship was on full display. Witnesses observed that William and Harry maintained their distance from one another, hardly recognizing one another.
The distance between Prince William and Harry seems certain to become a defining characteristic of his reign, pushing the Sussexes to the outside of royal life as he gets ready for his new job.
